  • Particle Time Offset Using Foam?

    Howdy folks,

I’m trying to animate several large flocks of animated birds. I’ve tried using both particle playground and foam, the two particle effects in which I replace the particle with my animated bird layer.

I’ve gotten foam to build a flock that looks very beautiful and natural, but I can’t offset the time of the particle layer and so all of my birds flap in unison.

Particle Playground does let me do this and all of my birds on their own, but I I haven’t yet been able to get their movement to as natural.

Is there an easy solution to this problem that I’m overlooking using After Effects?

    Thank you for any help.
