Particle Project Files
I’m looking for a set or “pack” of AE Particle Project files that can be customized to fit my needs.
While I’m fairly experienced with AE, I have spent very little time using particle emitters.
I’m sure I’d be able to tweak the setting if I had a rough start with something close.
Not sure if I would need CC Particle World or CC Particle Systems II.
I understand that the main difference is the 3D aspect of Particle World but not sure which I would need to achieve the look I’m after. I figured I would play around with both.
A retail pack would be fine as well.

If you read the small print, BorisFX offers Particle Illusion Pro on a trial that never ends.

They also have some big premade libraries.If it does the job, You can buy, or subscribe monthly to a package that works with in AE.
Otherwise, you could also look at Blender 3D animation.

Do you know if Particle Illusion Pro Trial will allow you to output a video file with an alpha channel?
Also do you know if there are any resolution restrictions in the trial version?Thanks again!

I don’t know, sorry. As I already have the full package as part of Continuum.
But, depending on the shapes that you are flying with, you might be able to pull a key on the background.
Not sure if the project is portable, but you might be able to do a one month rental when exporting and do it at that point.I’m working on PPro today, and there it has both 2D and 3D options + “Particle Illusion” which has presests that are close to your example.

Kevin, the free version of Particle Illusion will output with an alpha channel.
