I have particle playground creating falling coconuts. But I’d like the coconut images to rotate.

How do I add rotation & rotation variation to the images being produced in particle playground?

How about scale variation? Can I change overall image sizes without changing the layer size?

    Thanks in advance!

You’ll need to use a layer as a property mapper.

Particle Playground is one of the most misunderstood of all effects, due to its obscure interface and odd use of terminology.

There are many options to map luminance values to scale, torque(rotation), speed, lifespan etc.

Here is an example that uses a gradient ramp to map rotation and scale.

I think you would better off using particle world.
