The data format changed slightly in AE 7. I think there is a workaround that requires an additional step.

Can you paste the AE 7 data here so I can look at it?

Ok, here’s what you need to do.

    1) Copy the keys to the clipboard in AE as usual
    2) open Notepad (or some other text editor) and paste
    3) Find the line that starts with “Transform”. Delete “Transform” and the spaces so the line now starts with “Position”.
    4) Select all of the text and Copy it to the clipboard.
    5) Import into pI3 as usual.

Note that you only need to do this in pI3 for Windows. pI3 for Mac can already handle the AE 7 data.

Same problem concerning coords import from AE CS4 to particle illusion 3.0.1.
It works using your textedit copy/paste trick and deleting the “transform” part, but particle illusion misinterprets it.

    Anyone can help ?

Update to the latest version of particleIllusion 3. Version 3.0.1 may contain a bug in that area. It’s been so long I can’t remember.
