I noticed a lot more tutorials lately using Partical Playground instead of Trapcode Particular. Did Adobe improve PP?

I read that PP can do everything that TP can do, but TP renders a LOT faster. Is that still the case?

Particle Playground is a sick joke.
No matter how many tutorials anyone ever creates, PP will never be a useful tool. Adobe needs to create Particle Playground Lite A, B, and C that confine the filter’s absurdly surreal complexity to conventionally comprehensible tasks.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
