Partial Solution to Create a New Account after FCPX 10.1.1 and Mavericks 10.9.1
Sorry for the bad English, but could not help but share the result I got .
Since last week was unable to switch between optimized media and proxy and neither off background rendering .I have been following many posts reporting errors with FCPX 10.1.1 after installing Mavericks 10.9.1.
I used Disk Warrior , I cleared the preferences (Preference Manager – Digital Rebellion), caches, and also all the recommendations in the help of the apple site, but not resolved.
The alternative I found was to create a new user account rather than to do a fresh install from scratch. After using OnyX 2.8.2 for Mavericks, I believe my administrator account was corrected and FCPX started functioning normally.
I used all options in OnyX, but I believe the solution is below:
(Parameters > Login), leave the Administrator users and Local Users and click Restore Defaults.
(Parameters > QuickTime), Restore Defaults. After this procedure, able to change between proxy and optimized background rendering and off normally.
I think that may be an option for some rather than create a new account.
Hope that helps.
