  • Partial Solution to Create a New Account after FCPX 10.1.1 and Mavericks 10.9.1

Sorry for the bad English, but could not help but share the result I got .
Since last week was unable to switch between optimized media and proxy and neither off background rendering .

I have been following many posts reporting errors with FCPX 10.1.1 after installing Mavericks 10.9.1.
I used Disk Warrior , I cleared the preferences (Preference Manager – Digital Rebellion), caches, and also all the recommendations in the help of the apple site, but not resolved.
The alternative I found was to create a new user account rather than to do a fresh install from scratch.

After using OnyX 2.8.2 for Mavericks, I believe my administrator account was corrected and FCPX started functioning normally.
I used all options in OnyX, but I believe the solution is below:
(Parameters > Login), leave the Administrator users and Local Users and click Restore Defaults.
    (Parameters > QuickTime), Restore Defaults.

After this procedure, able to change between proxy and optimized background rendering and off normally.
I think that may be an option for some rather than create a new account.
    Hope that helps.
