  Parenting to a Puppet Pin

  I’m animating an octopus with the puppet tool.
  I need to track elements to the ends of the tentacles.

  when I pickwhip the position of a null object to the position of the Puppet Pin, It displaces my null object way out of place. the x & Y are matching perfectly on the null and pin…but it’s still screwed up.

  doe’s anybody know why this is happening?
  is there a work around?
