    Parenting Source Text Between Two Compositions

    Hi,

    I am attempting to parent the source text of two text layers between two separate compositions – for example composition 1 being called “parent text” and composition 2 being called “child text” – so that if I change the text in the parent comp, it is updated automatically in the child comp.

    Can anyone suggest correct way of writing this expression?

    Any ideas would be great,

    Expression in Child comp’s text layer for “Source Text”:

    comp(“Parent Text”).layer(“My Text Layer”).text.sourceText
