    Hi, I have a decent amount of experience with AE and am pretty comfortable in the software, but the new 2020 version is breaking my cameras and my brain, and I’m wondering if anyone here has an idea as to what’s going on.

    I’ve generally animated complex / compound camera moves using a two node camera and parenting it to a null object. In 2020 this function seems to be broken, or maybe I’m missing a new checkbox or tool somewhere?

    Basically, when I parent a camera to a null object and try to use a camera tool (orbit / dolly), it offsets the camera Point of Interest and makes the camera behave in unpredictable ways. Here is a video of how I expect a camera to behave when it is unparented from the null object (good), and then what happens when I do parent it (bad) in AE 2020:

    For reference, here is the same exact scene opened in AE 2019, where the behavior is consistent regardless of parenting:

    I’ve looked around the preferences and don’t see anything that might affect this. I’ve tried it using all 3 new orbit tools and all 3 new dolly tools. This scene is using Legacy Javascript, although I tried the newer regular “Javascript” and the results were the same. Has anyone else run into this? Am I being stupid and missing something obvious, or did adobe totally change the way cameras are calculated now? I’m happy to provide any extra info or share some higher res videos if needed.
