So I’ve searched the forums and found little on this. Has Motion developed a way to make one object the child of another? I’m not talking about nesting here. I know nesting will do a lot. But say you want an object in one layer to control the position of the object in another, is there a way?

For the most part, that will be filter/behavior specific. If the filter you are using takes a source object (like Repel, for example) then you can drop any object in the source well. I don’t know if there is any “roll-your-own” way to accomplish that…
