    Hello.

Does anyone know of a way to link the size/shape of two text boxes? I have some source text and another layer with an expression to link it to the source text of the first layer, but I’d like its layout (ie. text box size & shape) to also follow the layout of the source text. It’s not a big deal to have to manually resize the boxes; I don’t have hundreds of the things, but I just love automating everything!

Text boxes as well as text characteristics that reside within the Character Panel are beyond the realm of Expressions. A workaround is to use the sampleImage Expression method but it’s still a hassle. My thoughts are to use Guides when creating your boxes. But alas, even guides do not lend themselves to be copied from one comp onto another.
