  Paper through a window

  Hey there

  I’m a film student in South Africa and have just started using after effects so I don’t know much. I’m trying to make a piece of paper fly out a window but don’t know how to do it at all. Do I need a 3D model of paper and animate that to fly out the window? If so how do I animate a 3d model? If there is a simpler and easier way I’m all ears. If there’s a video tutorial somewhere please point me to it. Please help!!!!!!!
