    Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips as to how to get an effect similar to the one on the new Microsoft adverts?

The advert shows a piece of paper that has been screwed up into a ball, unravel itself to become a flat piece of paper with the microsoft logo on it.

It can be seen at the end of this youtube video:

Please any advice on how this was created would be much appreciated!
    Thanks

If It was me, I’d print the logo on paper and just stop-motion animate it, either starting with the crumpled ball and reversing in playback, or, starting with flat blank slip and wrinkling it, then I’d add the text in a compositor, or import the still image sequence into photoshop and hand-apply the lettering to sell that it is printed on the thing.
