panning in the work area is slow
Im using Cinema 4d r13 on a Macbook pro Mac OS 10.8.3 Once i dolly or use the orbit tool there’s no problem it’s fast. But once I use the pan tool to it’s super slow. I only have text on my work area. what could i be missing?

it doesn’t usually happen. If i dolly or zoom in and out…it’s ok. But there are times when I try to pan it would only do so in a very minimal amount. I didn’t change any setting i was just panning it. sometimes its ok sometimes it would pan in a very small distance.
