Sorry buddy, but here’s the DV Guys interview with Jan at NAB: https://www.dvguys.com/audio/dvg05_04_21.m4b confirming what I said.
She says (at the very beginning of her interview) that the camera will record 1080i, 720p, DVCPro50, and DVCPro25 at various frame rates, to P2 *only*, and standard DV (distinct from DVPro25) to tape.

Hi all,
Not sure where Tom got his info, but he is indeed incorrect. Firewire is available in 25M, 50M, and 100M. And the only HD output is Analog Component.
Hope that helps,

What?! The camera is $6,000, has a tape drive and P2 slots. P2 cards cost you more (a lot more). You CANNOT record DV50 or DV100 to tape (P2 only).

Sorry Ed but that is not correct, I spent a good deal of time with the product manager when she spoke at the FCPUG meeting at NAB and I checked
what I said against the Powerpoint shown to the group. “
