Panasonic Z-1000
Posted by Rainer Bergomaz on February 24, 2012 at 3:29 pmHi,
I am working with the Panasonic 3D camcorder Z-1000. The recorder creates AVCHD 3D files (mpo). How can I import this files in a 3D sequence of Premiere Pro CS5.5.Thank you

February 24, 2012 at 4:18 pmHi,
Until Cineform finishes their plug-in, that is really not going to be possible as a file transfer.
You could use the BlackMagic UltraStudio3D (you need Thunderbolt on your machine) and play the footage through to capture over two sdi inputs on your machine. Yes a little tedious but it is possible.
After NAB, a different story,

September 27, 2012 at 3:29 pmHi,
please let me ask as you are using Panasonic AG-3DA1.Have you connected Ultra Studio 3D(US3D) and AG-3DA1 and captured on Media Express?
What is your setting alike? 1080p/30p or …., SDIs only or HDMI’s ok or … .My US3D doesn’t work with 3DA1.
Black Magic told me there might be compatibility issue, but that would be very disappointing. So, if you are running US3D and 3DA1 fine, I’d like to know your settings.

September 27, 2012 at 3:42 pmHi Ted,
sorry. But I never worked with US3D. I am recording on 2 x Nanoflashes or Hypershuttles. This works.
But I would be glad if we keep in touch to share knowledge.
