Panasonic HS400 down conversion issue
I am working with an Hs400 with two HD cameras running full 1080i. The issue I have hit is that they want a recording on a DVD recorder and an encoding computer for the web. I was trying to use the down conversion option on the switcher to feed this signal but it doesn’t seem to work, I’ve been working on this for a few hours, i would love it if someone could tell mr where I am going wrong.

What card is installed to down convert? Are you sure you have one? You may have to get a down conversion box from AJA or Blackmagic to make this work…That’s how I do it.

which device did u use? I used a blackmagic Sdi-to-analog and it gave me one frame delay after converting.
