Panasonic HMC-150 and FCP 2 requirements
I am considering buying the Panasonic HMC-150 before the end of the month to take advantage of the rebate offer but am concerned if my setup will support it. Have been using the HVX-200 with DV tape as of late.
I run with an OWC 250 firewire with the 9/11 chipset for my external drive. I just installed FCP 2. My hope is the below is enough info for the call to be made. Looks like a sweet camera.
Any help would be much appreciated!

If you have FCP 6.04 or later and can run that you should have no problem with HMC150 footage- it’s data rate is just a little more than DV. Though obviously a lot more efficient.
