Panasonic GH4/lost video
Last week I recorded 4K video, using a Panasonic GH4, of a political campaign stop only to realize only two short clips were appearing on the card, but I knew I had recorded over an hour of video. Somehow either the camera formatted the card, or didn’t finish recording the video. I used a program called Stellar Phoenix Mac Data Recovery to pull the video files off the 128 gb Lexar SD card, but I am unable to play them now, even though I can see the files are 4.27 gigs, and should be complete video files. I get this error message in Quicktime reading, “QuickTime Player can’t open “42074112.MOV” (name of file). Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, were you able to recover the video in such a way it was usable? If you recovered the video, how did you get it to play? Thanks!
