Panasonic GH1 25p Problem
OK, I realize this is an exotic problem, but here goes:
I am using a Decklink HD Extreme card with latest drivers (8.0) and HDMI output to an Eizo 2441W screen.Using the latest hack for my camera, a VDSLR Panasonic GH-1, it is possible to generate very fine NATIVE 25p HDTV streams. These streams are not in a 50i wrapper, but true native 25p. I use CS5 to edit, and as long as I do not use the Black-Magic pre-set, all is fine. I can play and edit 25p fluently.
HOWEVER, as soon as I choose the Black Magic VDSLR 25p Preset, nothing is possible. I cannot even playback the 25p file in preview.
Does anyone know the mystery of perhaps createing a custom preset for Black Magic that would allow editing these streams? OR some other trick?

OK, a little investigation shows the prefs panel offers:
“use 1080p not 1080PsF”except I cannot access this option, it is greyed out.
Any idea which combination of hardware/prefs options will allow me to access this option?
Or is this an EIZO monitor quirk?Appreciate any ideas…
