Panasonic decks
I have a AJ-D450 DVCPro, DVCam, DV deck. It plays back DV and DVCam just fine. When I go to record to DVCPro, it freaks out. I set the menu (108-00) for DVCPro and record off my FCP 7.0 system. I get error E-02 when recording and on playback, DVCPro only, not DVCam (108-02 menu position). DVCam plays back fine. DV plays back fine. DVCPro, E-02 error with digital noise and picture breakup. Any body have a clue what is happening?

I’d check your manual carefully on that and make sure you’re using an actual supported tape format.
