• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Panasonic AJ-HD1800 and my Macbook Pro

  I’m trying to capture DVCPRO HD 720p 59.94 In Final Cut pro v6.0.4 using the Panasonic AJ-HD1800 via firewire with my 2.4ghz Macbook Pro. I have a Sonnet Tango express 34 card in my ExpressCard slot and I’m connecting one of the 2 firewire ports on the card to the VTR. I’m using a Western Digital external firewire drive hooked up to the firewire 800 port on the Macbook Pro as my scratch disk. In Final Cut I use the easy setup for DVCPRO HD 720p 60. Every time I try and capture video the capture window opens and then immediately closes. Any advice?
