I have a brand new Panasonic AG_HPX500P and I have only used it a handful of time and those where just to get used to some of the settings so I would be ready to shoot once our Edit Suite was upgraded.
Well now that its time to start shooting I cant get the LCD on the rear side to work any more. It worked before while I was playing back footage from the P2 card. In reading the manual it only says to be careful not to force the lcd beyond its movable range which I have not.
Anyone have any idea what could be causing the LCD not to turn on???

It sounds as if you need to contact a Panasonic service center. There is no reason that I know of why it should not work unless there is a menu setting to turn off the LCD. I don’t have an HPX500 here to check but that might be worth looking into before you ship it off to service.

Check your SAVE switch on your camera. Make sure it is set to off. It’s the first set of switches on the front left.
