Hi Folks

I’m having a problem with AVCHD files being recognised.

I have FCP 6.0.2, QT 7.3.1, Intel Quadcore.

This is the first time I have experienced these files, I have been given an external drive with the files on it in different folders (so no cameras or SD cards). When I try the Log & Transfer window and choose a path, I get unrecognised file structure when I choose the folder.

I have set up a new folder with the following file structure on my drive:

AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM/

Then the files, but still get the same problem. I’ve looked for Perian in the QT folder and done a search for it but cant find anything related.

Any ideas?

I’m having the same problem. I although…I have all the updates and latest versions of software…and it still doesn’t transfer for me, all the files still appear to be grayed out. I am running on FCP 6.0.4 and on an Mac Pro 8-Core Intel Processor. Can anyone help?
