Panasonic AG HMX 100 – transition issue
Hey guys,
I am building a new TV Studio in our university.
For that we bought the Panasonic AG HMX100 AV Mixer.The cams are connected and everything isn’t working except the transition with the lever.
When I try to blend from A to B or vice versa, the mixer does not make a soft transitions. It kind of jumps to the aimed video und fades it away to jump to it again.
I made a video, that you can see it.Is there an adjustment I didn’t recognized or do I have technical problems?

Hi Florian, I’m working on that switcher for a while and it seems that you connected wrong video out to your recorder. On the back side there are PGM out and PREVIEW out. PGM out is proper main video and audio out and I think you connected it to PREVIEW out. When you start transition, preview screen shows you preview image, than changes to pgm image showing transition and duration and after that it changes to next preview inage. Preview image is what you are planning to show next in program. I hope I helped.

I connected the monitor to the multiview out. But it is as you describe. It’s the change from preview to PGM.
