Hi guys, I’m working on Panasonic ag hmx 100 for a while and till today I have a very frustrating issue on this device.
EXAMPLE: I have 3 cameras SONY EX-1, all connected through SDI connectors to the switcher. All 3 cameras provide excellent picture,
and in my multiview monitor I can see audio from all 3 cameras, BUT
in PGM OUT I can run only one audio (from cam 1). I read 50 times manual instruction and I didn’t find anything that I’m doing wrong but still, I can’t run second audio. To be more specific, I’m providing switcher’s settings:
    – 3 cams connected on SDI1, SDI2, and SDI3 in
    – PC connected to DVI in.
ON THE SWITCHER’s audio/video input software settings:
    FORMAT is 1080/50i (PAL)
    1. PC AS-1 VS-1 analog
    2. CAM1 AS-1 VS-1
    3. CAM2 AS-2 VS-2
    4. CAM3 AS-3 VS-3

Audio faders are set to 12 pair
    Audio channels are set to:
    CH SDI 1 L-CH 1, R-CH 2
    CH SDI 2 L-CH 3, R-CH 4
    CH SDI 3 L-CH 5, R-CH 6

ONLY FADER NO.2 PROVIDE AUDIO IN THIS CASE, THE REST DOESN’T WORK.
So I tried different combination, even without PC and it simply doesn’t work.

I have 2 conclusion for this issue:
or I’m missing something in av input settings
    or the switcher has mailfunction.

Please, if anybody can give me a clue what is wrong, I’ll be glad to hear it. Thanks.

Hi there. We are also experiencing audio issues through the SDI inputs. However we have managed to establish at least 2 camera mic sources. When we connect three cameras via SDI we can only hear 2 camera mics NOT 3 !
It appears that no matter what settings you select there is just no audio via SDI 3 and SDI 4.
And as for the analogue XLR inputs (4 pairs) don’t even go there.

This mixer is flawed with design issues. Its a real pig to set up and the manuals tell you nothing.

PLEASE ! someone from Panasonic jump on to this and advise us.
