Panasonic 1200A Question
After I digitize a Varicam tape (not 24p, just regular video) thur 1200a, firewire into FCP and check the Format tab, I’m seeing 14.6 mb/s. Is this correct? I’m using 720p60 DVCPRO HD codec. I thought Varicam was 100 mb/s.

That would be the base band video stream not the compressed version you captured over FW. (lower case letters denote megabits not MegaBytes)
at 720p24 your data would be about 5.75MBps ( MegaBytes per second.)
