What is the way to make adjustments when you have a really big picture to adjust with the pan/crop feature. You cant get the zoom less than 12.5. I am talking about a really large file.

The usual recommendation is that, unless you’re doing a very deep zoom, stills don’t need to be any larger than 2X your project size.
For example, if you working on a standard def project, your stills don;t need to be any larger than 1440 x 960.
Use a free app like IrfanView to reduce the size (in pixels) of the file down to a manageable size.

Since you’re zooming out to shrink the image, consider using Track Motion as it will shrink the images much better than Pan/Crop.

So much to learn and so little time. I was trying to do a scanning large enough to make poster size pictures and good resolution on up to 50 inch or so TV. Now I see this scanner does scanning up to 768 by 1024 I’ve never even thought of using the settings for making DVD and do not know if that will even work. It is for Web and Screen use. Will it even print? I will have to do a burn and see what it looks like on a large TV screen. It says scan at 768×1024 but does not require me to say what the output size is. This scanning may make me leave out scanning for poster size pictures. It will fix the pan/crop problem though.
    Thanks for the tip
