  • Pan behind cropped image?

Posted by Craig Shields on October 1, 2006 at 10:41 pm

Is there a way to pan within the cropped image? I looked at the DH_Box plug-in but there doesn’t seem to be a way to crop just one side with that plug. It’s either crop X or Y.

    Thanks,
    Craig

Use a luma or matte element instead of cropping… just put it (a black frame with a white box shaped the same as you want the crop to be) under the clip, and change the clip’s composite mode to travel matte Luma. Then you can move on it all you want…
