he pulled the analogue precursor on garchows choice post like it was a ham sandwich. going back through his stream is mind bogglingly rewarding. I’ve literally just skimmed it again. there are some choice cuts there. including experimental sixties docos with typography, god that was so lovely.

I thoroughly enjoyed the reference.
It was great to see/hear the similarities in decay nearly 30 years later, completely different medium, as well as mentored the origin.

honestly, once my favorite forum on the internet to learn from real people, making real content,providing real insight, and tangible problem solving, has now turned into a place i barely check because this guy Branner. A know it all, thats knows nothing, so annoying.

I was actually talking to a dealer today – and in the middle of that reminded myself that while the new MacPro is being assembled here in the good old USA – it’s equally true that the market for the product is totally global.
Which means that at some point, unless they’re going to be FedEx’ing BTO units to everyone – they’ve got to load up container ships with produced units in order to get them to Apple stores globally.
and THAT certainly won’t take much time, will it?
Supply chain is a very reel bitch for any global company. Even one as sophisticated and powerful as Apple.
