    pal/ntsc issues…please help!

    Hi everyone,
    I’m using the Avid Media Composer to edit a project. Half of the footage I have is on NTSC and the other is PAL ( Everything is DV) I know Avid does not mix PAL and NTSC footage on the same timeline. Question one – Does FInal Cut Pro? If it does, I might consider switching editing softwares

    Secondly, if none of them allow me to use PAL and NTSC on the same timeline/project, I would need to convert the footage. Do you have suggestions about how I can convert the footage with the least possible quality loss.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
