    Hello!

I’m one of those people who is still unsure if this camera (HVX200) is right for me. I have a possible project in the not-too-distant future where the finished video would need to be distributed on both PAL and NTSC DVDs. I live in Norway, so I would most likely buy the PAL version of the camera. How would I use the HVX in the best possible manner to accomplish my final PAL/NTSC distribution? Should I just shoot normal PAL and then later have it profesionally converted to NTSC? Are there any features in this camera that would make the dual standard output easier? How would you guys go about shooting, editing and converting if you were using the HVX? Just curious if there are any cool features with this camera that I don’t know about that would help in my situation.

    Kind regards,
    Eric

If you author in NTSC any modern PAL TV/DVD can play it.

Or 24p can be sped up to 25p for PAL, and 25p can be slowed down to 24p for NTSC.
