PAL to NTSC through black magic
hey guys
I need to send out and NTSC DVD to be screened at a theater, my project is PAL HDV (70 minutes) and it needs 8 hours to export to QT, i was planning to take that PAL QT to compressor and convert to NTSC Ive done this before and the quality was just fine
but I have a black magic card (decklink HD extreme) and I was wondering if I could that to convert PAL into NTSC by printing to a DV tape as NTSC on output -

no – these are not standards converters. Neither are the products made by blackmagic’s competitors.
