PAL to NTSC DVD in Premiere Pro 1.5
Hi, I am a quite new user of Premiere Pro 1.5. I just moved to the US from Europe. I have quite a bit of footage that was shot in PAL format (MiniDV, Panasonic DVX-100). I would like to send out showreels etc on DVD

You best software option, if you want to spend a few bucks is Canopus Procoder, they also have a ‘lite version’.
Of course you’ll have to redo all the menus, and no matter what, the quality will be pretty desirable, especially with mpeg2 compression; you’ll probably get some jitter in motion areas.

The lite version is Grass Valley Procoder Express, does a decent job with format conversion
