PAL to NTSC conversion
I have FCP5 with DVD Studio Pro and I have an hour long completed SD PAL project to convert to NTSC. Exporting to compressor – advanced – DV NTSC brings up an error message after 1/2 hour “startup disk almost full”. And how do I go about converting all the menus?

Precisely my thoughts! The maximum free space I can make is 10Gb on the 111 Gb drive of my MacBook Pro. According to Macworld I need a couple of networked G5s to convert, so I wont bother with a Natress plugin, I’ll use a copyshop.
On a different tack can anyone explain why, when I de-interlace freeze frames, then burn the disk, I find that some of the frames have magically re-interlaced themselves? Never had this prob. before, only difference is I am now storing all the timeline and compressed media on a seperate HD.
