PAL Standards In Prem Pro In Australia
Hi Guys,
I am working through a lot of new knowledge and have hit a small hurdle.
I have not been able to get a firm answer in regards to creating my own TVC for broadcast in Australia.
I have shot on a Sony VX2100e, baby brother and identical to a PD-170 (except for pro audio intergration) which is used internationally for news gathering and have a pro voice over cut into it in Prem Pro.
At this stage I have all the audio specs under control, I am stuck with the vision being compliant?
I need to know is it going to be of legal standard over here?
The TV station mentioned that they don’t normally do it but it should be fine, and then issued me with the OP 36 document which no one I have talked to can explain or give me a straight answer about.
I just need a simple reply as to whether Prem Pro and the VX2100e can create OP 36 compliant material and what specifics I need to treat it with.
Any information or links to relevant resources would be very welcomed.
Several industry friends have looked at it but can’t tell me how, their content just comes out right!
Lucky ducks!
This has been a thorn in my side for many months so I thought I would finally ask the cows brilliant forum for input.
Best Regards,
Oscar J (newbie)
(I will also post in the Sony DV forum section)It’s all relative..
