I’ve been editing some 25p PAL footage. I need to burn a DVD to play NTSC, so I have to convert it. Right now, I’m just copying from the PAL media from the timeline and pasting it into an NTSC timeline. It’s worked great for me in the past when converting no-edit timelines such as a tape screener, but not now. The PAL timeline is filled with many edits and levels of sound. When pasting into the NTSC, several of the sound clips have been thrown off by about 3-5 seconds, and many of the video clips are not appearing in the timeline even though they will play in the canvas. It seems to be happening randomly, that is, they are not associated to any one piece of media. Why is this happening? Any ideas for how to create a temp. fix without a pro convert?

    Thanks in advance,
    e
