November 18, 2005 at 11:42 pmHi Jim
Your music must be in AIFF format at 48Khz for FCP…I suspect i tunes is bringing in your music as AAC or perhaps even MP3 format.
Check your preferences option for import in i tunes.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes

November 19, 2005 at 10:53 pmMy File is an Aiff @48kz
If I put it in a NTSC seq. if plays fine (no Render)
If i put it in a PAL Seq. It needs to be rendered?all my other tracks brought in from PAL tapes play Fine.
Is it a Problem because the SEQ. is at @25fps
I never noticed this before.Thanx

Try opening the audio file in QuickTime and exporting it as an Aiff at 48k 16bit (the same as you say it is, now)
Import that into the PAL project and see how it goes … -

November 21, 2005 at 9:32 amThis should not be a problem. I work in PAL and import 48 kHz 16 bit .aiff files all the time, without having to render..
