PAL DVD Question…
I can’t believe this hasn’t already been addressed, but I can’t find it anywhere (at least not in any form that makes sense to me).
I am in the US, but want to make a DVD that’s playable in Poland (PAL). Is there anything special I need to do besides create it in a Vegas PAL project and burn it as a PAL DVD? Will my NTSC MiniDV footage be converted properly?
I’m a little concerned because I don’t have a way of testing it out before I send it (Except, of course, playing it on my PC. But I can’t help but think that the PC is a little more forgiving than an actual DVD player.) and would just like to get some input before I dive in — I’d hate to get it all done and find out I messed something up.

That shoould work fine.

Plus, there’s an extremely good chance that the NTSC disc will also play fine in their player.

As Ed points out below, it is highly unlikely that a regular NTSC DVD will not work in Poland. In fact, I would be hugely surprised if it didn’t. People in Europe buy a significant portion of their DVDs from the US, a non-NTSC capable player simply wouldn’t sell in Europe.
Go for NTSC and you will be fine.
