    I have jittery scroll credits in PAL timeline. This project is NTSC, converted clean (no GFX) and I’m recreating the scrolls at the end. NTSC credits look fine, PAL is legible but very jittery, jumpy. I’ve copied the text and re-created the text, neither seems to work well. Any suggestions would be helpful, client is unhappy with the credits. It’s a DV project to make matters more challenging.

    Try the Boris crawl which comes with FCP4.5 and 5. I find it a much smoother credit roll tool. It is with the other effects under Boris, not under text tools.

    fcp might have added a fieldshift filter. Hit remove attributes, check filters.. rerender
