Select Auto-Trace and simply animate the mask shape of your logo while the brush “sweeps” on..the logo!

You might want to look at Aharon’s signature tutorial to get a better idea.

    Hope that helped!

make an animated reveal mask using vector paint that can be used as a wipe, then just animate the characters hand moving over top of it. It wont match up stroke by stoek unless you spend the time to animate him doing that.

in traditional animation if you wanted to cheat that and not actually show it painting on you could have the character turn and cover the place hes painting and just show his back with his arms moving then he turns back to his original position and reveals the painted painting.

A cheat like that would be used because it avoids a dificult, or time consuming or costly effect shot and still gets the point across.

Try write-on effect to reveal a painted layer, very easy.
If you don’t know how to use it, search for “Growing elements” there is an excellent video tutorial here.
