Paint my Office please :)
I finally got my office ready for painting.
It’s a small 12 x14 very low ceiling (stupid basement).
Brand newly built room with soundproof walls and ceiling (drywall channels too).
I have one window (2’x16″) and a connected server room.
Mostly editing/color/motion/3D/music…well I guess everything under the sun.
I will be adding acoustic foam here and there.Any suggestions for color?

Used the 18% grey card from my ColorChecker Passport at HD.

I love Martha Stewart colors and years ago I painted our edit bays Nimbus Cloud on three walls and then a slightly darker gray on an accent wall. Love Nimbus Cloud. If you want a soft Green color as an accent, one that has low chroma is Kauai from Martha.
Although it used to be sold at Home Depot, you can tell them the color name and they will match it with any paint brand you want.
The Ralph Lauren colors are also very good….softer color, where the Name Brands always seem to be too punchy with the color.

Thanks, folks for all your tips on painting.
I have moved on to other things like lighting.
Most cases I don’t think that requires any specifics other than the ability to cut out the sunlight ☺
But if you have any tips, throw it in please.
