Paint Bucket FIlls
Hello, I am working on a project where I am doing hand drawn rotoscope (think waking life). For larger areas I am drawing the outline and then filling the shape with the paint bucket. The problem is that the fill doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the outline. The anti-aliasing on the brush seems to be creating it, but I don’t want to turn anti-aliasing off. It will be a huge time saver for me to figure this out. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Look slike you need to adjust the tolerance of your paint bucket or use a mask or selection area for the paint bucket fill. If the tolerance is too low, any partially filled pixel will stop the paint bucket fill – so if you’re using a brush with any softness at all, the paint bucket won’t quit go all the way to the edge. By raising tolerance, you can be sure the fill will go farther in. You will get a much more accurate fill by using a selection area or a masked area, too.
