Hi expression lovers. I am trying to animate a human like figure and i wonder which is the best way to create inverse kinematics in After Effects, is there any plug-in or assistant, or everything has to be done through expressions ?. Thanks for your time in advance.

Oh! I read the post again with more attention. With plug-ins? I think there is none able to do that, not in AE.

Oh, i check Dan Ebberts’ expression on inverse kinematics and is a candy !. Frankly i still see a bunch of numbers and ecuations that i can understand, but thanks to Dan’s way to simplify the expression i am on my way to animate this guy. I am very thankful. I still believe that a plug-in could be exelent because are many factors on the movement that have to be done in a very tricky way, but still is a powerful tool. Thanks for your time.

In fact, AE is not really to do this kind of thingb (I guess), so that’s why I think there is nothing so especific to create this IK effect.
