    Hi Graeme,

I’ve got some digibeta footage (PAL, 16:9) I want to give a progressive look. Any suggestions for this with the G Film Plugin or Standards Converter?

    Thanks

    Will,

I was using his ‘smart deinterlace’ for two and a half weeks for the BBC on the snooker coverage.

Yes, the Film Effects package has all the stuff you need in it. As Peter points out, the smart-deinterlace is a nice one, and should work great as it did for him on the Snooker.

    Thanks,

    Graeme

Thanks Graeme, is there an upgrade to 2.0?

I use revisionfx deinterlacing. Works absolutely great. I have no idea if it works better or worse than the stuff already mentioned. Doesn’t cost very much either.

Will – do you have an earlier version? If so drop me an email and I’ll send 2.1 your way fast.

I happen to have both – the plus with RSMB is that it works in both AE and FCP but for $10.00 more you get a whole lot more in the Nattress plugin but it is limited to FCP.
