“Page Turns” Fail in Compound Clips
I’ve put FCPX page turn transitions in a Project. They playback fine in the original Project. But once I make the Project into a Compound Clip these page turns do not work as designed. Instead of seeing the page turn start in the corner, it starts several frames into the page turn. And near the end it just stops or freezes for several frames and doesn’t complete the page turn. This tells me I can’t use Compound Clips in FCPX if I have transitions.

Well, it tells you that you can’t use page turns in a compound clip. Report it to Apple.
Meanwhile, I assume all is well if you just break apart the compound clip before you render the final video?

That’s a good one. Something I’d say.
When I DO break it open it seems to be fine. So today’s lesson, break apart my Compound clips before that final SHARE.

But come to find, when I break apart my Compound Clip in my master Project’s timeline, it opens a new timeline of just my Compound Clip. So that gets me nowhere.

Actually when I use the command Break Apart, that removes all transitions.
