Page Turning effect
Hey guys, anybody would know how to create a “turning page” effect? I am building a slide show type project(mostly footage but there’s some pix as well and the client wants the old book style with the “turning pages” effect between the pictures.
How can I manage that?
I use Vegas 7, Photodex, After Effects and photoshop, but I would really want to build the whole thing on Vegas since I am so use to work with it.

Use the page peel transition in Vegas – lot’s of options within that transition to get the look you want.

That’s kind of cool.
That gave me an idea. I could use hand writing effect.
Anybody knows how? I did it before with AE but took me for ever.

Here’s the thing: will the audience get tired of the effect after a few page turns?
After all, they want to see the photos, not the effect…
I would go easy. Straight cuts are still the best cuts.

I agree but the client gets what the client wants. the way I have it so far is subtile maybe 3 or 4 pix then footage and so on.

I have two upper tracks with text on it. Third track is the background for the text. I want the next page to only have the background, so it appears empty.
The problem is that the text shows through the page turn effect, even when Opacity is 100%.
How do this?
