    Hi there

I use InDesign for preparing bid/tender documents for my company. Typically we’re working on an A4 format, usually Portrait orientation. However, sometimes for items such as project plans or structure charts we need a larger page. We’ve just moved over to InDesign from MS Word, and there we would have simply inserted an A3 page (landscape) mid-document. I cannot see how I can do this in InDesign – is it possible at all? My design company that I use for other projects seem to think it’s not possible at all.

Sorry but I cannot figure out what you are asking. InDesign has both A3 & A4 as default size templates, adn you can create any custom size up to the maximum size limit of 1296picas.

I want to be able to place an A3 page within an A4 document. I may have found the solution now though…
