    Hi all,
I’m working in InDesign for the first time ever. We are making revisions to the book my work is publishing, but having an issue with page breaks.

We received the indesign file from the publisher, and in between two of the chapters, we have an issue with an empty page. We want to be able to add some content into that area, but all it gives us is the option to shift the next entire chapter either further ahead or back. We want to type something in and move to bottom of page, but it’s not giving me that option. Any help would be appreciated.

    Blessings,
    Shawn

    I would try Type>insert break> Page break.
