I see that Resolve has 3D LUTs for converting P3 and Rec709 to XYZ. Where can I find a P3 to Rec709 LUT and vice versa? Is it a standard LUT now or should I contact someone like CineSpace to purchase one?

THX / Cinespace doesn’t make bespoke LUTs, they develop and sell the software to do it, though.

I can make you LUTs for a fee (I use Cinespace). Contact me at john (at) postcollectivemedia (dot) com

Hi, when working from/to P3 beware it’s not only about colours but also viewing conditions, and that the size of the screen has serious impact over the perception of the content. A LUT will do some corrections, but you’ll generally end up doing another grading pass to fine tune.

Thanks. I’ve understood that the P3 to Rec709 LUT helped get you into the Rec709 world but you had to do a trim pass to nail the look.
